The kids choir (grades 1-6) of Cherrydale will present “The Amazing Jerusalem Makeover,” an original musical by Pastor Herb. The production will be presented in the Worship Center on Friday, November 20 at 7pm and Saturday morning, November 21 at 10am. The musical tells the story of Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem. All kids who expect to participate in the cast should make an appointment with Herb during July to audition for a speaking or singing part. The musical is open to all kids, however.

The Principles for Parents Seminar was created to teach you the five most significant biblical principles that will help you parent successfully. It is for parents-to-be, parents of children, parents of teens, and for all those in authority over children.

Pastor Herb Owen will lead the next seminar Sunday afternoon, July 12 from 2pm until 5:30pm.

The Straight Street Singers presented “Safe in His Arms” to a packed house on Friday evening and Saturday morning. The cast did a great job and we’re excited by the support the entire church gave to our young actors.

In May the Straight Street Singers presented “Safe in His Arms,” a musical that demonstrates how God protects his people. A video of the production is available for five dollars from the Children’s Ministry Office. The DVD includes the trailer (shown at left of this page) produced to promote the musical.
